Nice photos! :)

Okay, so here's a dumb question--can you go up in it and take the photos yourself? Aren't there ways photographers take photos from helicopters and the like? Perhaps using a harness so you don't fall out and keep the door opened? Or isn't that something you'd like to try? :eek: One to fly the aircraft and one to take the photos is still a 2-man team. :D

The company name is New Heights Aerial Photography. (New Heights Aerial :: Aerial Photography). It's owned by my buddy Andy Isaak. It's his chopper and it's very high tech. He flies the chopper, I take the pictures using an rc radio. I have a video link to the camera (D800...his) and can see everything the camera sees. We keep my D300 (formerly his) as a backup should anything happen to the D800....until it's paid off. :)
Here's a shot with the camera and hexacopter (six rotors). We now use an octocopter (eight rotors). Much stronger and able to lift more weight.

Wow that sounds like quite the adventure Jack! I can see why you would love it. Very Kool Job! great job on all these by the way.:D
