Just wondering how are everyone’s battery grip from LinkDelight holding up. I couldn’t resist ordering one for my d7000 seeing what a good value it was. They even gave me an instant coupon for $2 off my order. Paid a total of $52.99 and was delivered in exactly two weeks. The grip feels solid and the rubber parts matches the camera’s very nicely. Now for the bad news… It seems (to me) that there’s a problem with the electronics on the one I received, here’s why: As soon as I installed the grip, the camera automatically set itself to the maximum aperture and shutter speed. The buttons on the camera become inoperable and the dials on the grip won’t adjust either the aperture or speed. Also, the auto-focus stays on hunting continuously without me even pressing the shutter release button. It was kind of scary seeing the camera behaving erratically like this, so I immediately shut it off and took the grip off. Before I pack it back up and send back, does anyone have any suggestions or insight on why the camera is behaving like this? There has to be a problem with the grip in my opinion. Thank you all:D
