I think you have a good selection here for the 850. I think you would like the 200-500 f/5.6 I have it and use it on my 7200 and 700 and like it a lot. It is, in my mind, a good value and I like the fixed aperture through the whole range. I also have a 14-24 that is nice. I know it is difficult to find filters for it, but I still love it for sunrises and architecture. It is just a nice lens.

I look forward to seeing some shots from your 850 and your impressions and wish you well with your final selections.

IMO the 14-24 should be a must have lens in your bag with the others you've selected. I never leave home without it and it's well worth the money and hard to beat:

I also like the new 8-15mm fisheye....but that's more a fun/artsy kinda lens imo... :-D
