[QUOTE="co2jae, post: 201340, member: 9917"] Someone wrote in for suggestions on a taking a lens to a 49ers football game but I cant seem to find the thread anymore. Anyway, I went to Chicago 2 Sundays ago and took my 18-105 for a wide angle shot of the stadium but used the 70-300mm for the game. Soldier field has a 6 inch maximum rule for telephoto lens and the 70-300mm is 5.6 inches (when collapsed) so I printed out the dimensions and headed into the stadium. The security let me right in and didn't even check my camera (no bags allowed though!) which was hanging under my arm on it's strap. I was lucky enough to be going in the friends and family entrance so it may have been different at a "normal" entrance point. Anyway, I am rambling aren't I? I found the 70-300 to be fine for my needs and included some JPEG samples of the game. The 2nd and next to last one were cropped, the others weren't. P.S. CHicago is a fabulous place to see a game, even for a Cowboys fan.....
