How do you know photography is for you? Did you know it before you got a camera? Or was it after you got your first look at photos you shot? I like gadgets and things like that, I loved to idea of seeing what your shot would look like without waiting for it to be developed! Before I got my D3100 I had the silly idea that even if I never did develope them I could just collect my photos right there on the media card, and look at them on my camera when I wanted to see them! Lol 
You see I've spent most of my time using blackberry's as my only interaction with the internet. I became a huge fan of themes and joined several blackberry sites, posting on more themes than I can count. I even became a moderator using just a blackberry 8330 if you can believe it! So all my thinking evolved around what a blackberry could do, and I got very good at making it do things that most blackberry users didn't know it could do.
Over the years I worked as a mod and then an admin, and even as a co-owner of a forum, and it wasn't until this last year that I upgraded you might say to a tablet.
So anyway that is why I had that silly idea about needing nothing but my Nikon to enjoy photography! Lol

But I bet your wondering what all of this has to do with what made me sure photography is for me, aren't ya? Lol
Well the answer would be.........not much! Lol
I found out it was for me after I took a shot of my very first bug. Yes a bug. I tiny little spider in fact. It was not colorful, it wasn't impressive, in fact there was absolutely nothing all that great about this tiny little spider. Except for one thing that is. It was my first up close photo of a spider, and I was thrilled with it! No it isn't a great photo, but it doesn't matter because it was my first and it was then that I realized that I was hooked! And here is the little critter that started it for me!
