Hi Guys,

Took this photo of the Brig Amity Replica in Albany, Western Australia. I'm trying to improve my skills a little bit before i travel to the U.S.A in October for holidays!
I went for a longer exposure to try and get a smoother reflection on the water.

nice shot. Where will you be traveling in the states? Members can be of help on shooting locations, also google is a good resouce for photo locations, help cut down time looking for that great shot.

Travelling to New York City, Orlando, San Fransisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles. I'm also doing a tour through Sierra Nevada, Death Valley NP and the Grand Canyon. Will hopefully be taking some good shots of all the popular landmarks and attractions but my main goals are to get some good NYC skyline shots and some landscape/panorama shots of the national parks.

Normally I would say don't shoot with the horizon in the center but in this case it is perfect. The only thing that you might could have done better is leave a little more room in front of the boat than behind.

Color, exposure, contrast and post processing is perfect.
