And the photos in the auction don't do it justice. The lens is absolutely immaculate. In fact it looks and feels BRAND NEW! Even the front and rear element cap look new. I am guessing someone got this lens, took a few photos with it and stuck it in a closet somewhere and forgot about it. I have tomorrow and Wednesday off so I anticipate some time the next couple of days putting it through its paces!

Congrats, so you going to use it for portraits? I'm curious how it will compare to the 105 f1.8 and 180 f2.8, or even the 85 f1.4.
