Telephoto for portraits

That video was sure food for thought. Going to have to add that to my list. This darn site is gonna end up costing me a fortune.

The 300mm is a little too long for portraits for me. The Nikon 200mm f2 can provide similar results without backing up far from your subject.

done many nice BG pictures with the 300 f/4 AFS I took from my friend for some weddings. if you have a nice backdrop, you can get a beautiful compression of them where it looks like its right behind them. if its just a regular full body the it will look nice but for face/half body it will look a bit flat. the 200mm part of the lens will do all you need.

I dont like fro's style in this video. a bit too much overacting and too fake for me.
