Look in your lens user manual or with Nikon website to make sure your zooms can use the TC.One major problem is that you will loose 2 stops of light and your zoom being 5.6 they will become f11 at the max opening. This would probably cause huge focus problems with your D90. Basically, it would not work with good results.There is no cheap way to getting professional images like the ones you see that were done using 10,000 dollars lenses.So, either you start saving or go ebay to find the bargain that can show once in a lifetime.</blockquote>
