Taromina has some spectacular scenery, and relaxing beaches. What a great vacation spot! Pics were taken with a D5000 using the standard kit lens (18-55mm) w/ a circular polarizer or a 10-24mm wide angle.

Wow...im super impressed. these pics are crystal clear! makes me wish i bought the D5000 instead of the D60. maybe someday.

Actually, my wife took that one - she went out in the water with the camera, got down low, and snapped several pics. The circular polarizer may have helped a little with capturing the color. Sun was directly overhead.

can you give more info on the polarizer....size,brand,cost. The polarizer was used for all the pictures i am guessing.

It's a Nikon 52mm circular polarizer. I think it was about $100. The first, second, and last definitely don't have it on (wide angle lens).
