Tamron 70-200 F2.8 G2 With Z6?

I've been thinking of getting a telephoto lens because I find myself wishing (at times) that I had one lately. Based on performance and price, I think the best choice is the Tamron 70-200 F2.8, but I wanted to see if any Z6 owners here have used this ens with this camera and can tell me about their experiences with this combination before I get it.

I do have the Tamron 70-200 G2 and it works very well on my Z6. I did have to update it using the TAP console but that was very easy. The new ones may come updated already, but I would check. I love it as much on my Z6 as my D700 or D7200.
