I'll swap between the 24-70 Tamron and the 24-120 Nikon based on how much control I'll have on the subjects. I still tend to grab the 24-120 as my walk around lens so that I don't have to swap lenses to get focal lengths beyond 70mm, but if I know I'm shooting primarily portraits then the 24-70 is my first choice. In your case, I would suggest checking your photo library to see what focal length(s) you use most often to see if the range from 70-105 is that important to your overall shooting.</p></blockquote><p></p>
