Hi,

What do you think of these photos? I just recently purchased a Nikkon 35mm f/1.8G AF-S DX.

Nice. Flash is a little harsh for me. Off camera diffused lighting would help. Strawberries in the foreground would be better if rotated so you got more berry and less leaf - the moisture on them is nice, but they're otherwise distracting from what you're looking to showcase.

Yes, flash is harsh here. But keep on learning about closeup and macro photography - it is, undoubtedly, very interesting area.:encouragement:
By the way: have these shots been taken with 35mm lens (EXIF shows 48mm and 52mm, whereas 35mm translates to 52,5mm when used with DX camera)?

Thanks, Draganl. I am somewhat confused by the last part of your comment following, "By the way". I was using a 35mm lens with my D3200 camera.

Wait a minute. I could really kick myself. These strawberries were not photographed with the 35mm lens I recently bought. These were taken with the kit lens 18-55mm. OMG, it took a while to realize what you meant by the "EXIF" that appears in my picture. Thanks
