[QUOTE="nickt, post: 255299, member: 4923"] I have been curious about this recently so I did some quick test shots. I used 1/30, 1/60, 1/200, and 1/400 shutter speed. I used auto white balance, but I did one additional set with white balance manually set to fluorescent. No difference that I could see between manually setting white balance or auto. I tried another set (not shown) with manual exposure, no noticeable difference. I don't think the fluorescents go dark like some led lights will if run on a rough power supply. I also tried a series (not shown) on my kitchen fixture. Same type bulbs as the shop light, but last year, I replaced the ballast with a new electronic ballast. No color variation over the burst at 1/400 shutter and auto wb was fine.
