Throw in a microfiber towel or an extra pair or eyeglasses. An extra flashlight. I keep a cheapo headlamp (like coal miners use) in the bag. Raingear or a large plastic  bag. A large bandanna can have many uses, and will fill some of your emptiness. You get the idea.As time passes you will add the things that are more important to your needs and take out the unnecessary stuff</blockquote>
