If anyone cares I've figured out the packing set up for short trips. All my gear in the Storm, possibly a body + prime in my Chrome Niko messenger along with all the lighter/smaller clothing options, the Niko tucked into a Chrome Barrage backpack with anything that didn't fit into the Niko. Once de at my destination the Niko is out and set up for walk around, the Storm acts as base camp, and if I need it the Barrage will be empty and ready for a day out. If I find I need a article of clothing I can just buy it and mail it home if needed. If if anyone is intersted the Chrome Barrage maxes out the Delta carry on guidelines if fully loaded with a tripod strapped to the side. A reasonable travel tripod will fit in the Storm as well. Right now I've got 2 gripped bodies, 5 lenses, tripod, and all the filters/support items I would ever need neatly inside the storm.
