Maybe get people from each country to contribute photos they've taken in their local Starbucks and combine the into a book and sell it to the Starbucks company.

I up for seeing everyone Starbucks images. I would love that. Perhaps a digital book could be made.

These are some cool photos. You might have some luck selling your images directly to Starbucks, but making a book would be a very, very bad idea.

Starbucks is one of the biggest brands on the planet, and there's NO WAY their lawyers would allow you to profit from their brand by making a book. Your next photos would be of cardboard box homes down by the river, because that's where you'd end up.

Oh I wasn't thinking of selling the book. I meant a digital book printed for my own use. However, isn't the copyright of the images mine? It's a public space and I'm not pretending to be Starbucks. :)

You're teetering on a fine line. Photos taken out on the street are okay, that's public property. But if you're inside a Starbucks, you're on their property and those rules don't apply. They would be perfectly within their rights to ban you from their stores for life for taking photos in their stores if they wanted to. Starbucks is a very PR-friendly company, so I don't ever see them doing something like that. Just the opposite, in fact. I think they would be very approachable about using your photos in their own ad campaigns.

I don't see much of an issue then. Hell, maybe the OP could even make a deal with Starbucks to buy a book of these photos from him and they could display the pictures as a kind of campaign showing customers that people around the world enjoy their coffee.

It's probably unlikely but who knows? It could be beneficial to both parties.

On a different note. I found this odd cup in my local Starbucks in Northern Ireland. Obviously a delivery mistake, but I managed to persuade the staff to sell it to me.
