St. Joseph's Oratory, Montreal

It was a bright, beautiful day today. Went out to St. Joseph's Oratory with the D80 and 35mm. I shot everything in............................................. RAW! Good thing to. The D80 has a tendency to over expose in very bright light. Therefore, it needs to be set at -0.7 to get a better exposure out in the bright light.

Beautiful interiors. I didn't even know about that structure (but what do you expect for someone originally from Edmonton, LOL).

Yeah, it's an immense structure. I will go back during the summer with the 5100 - i think i will get better results for the interior shots or....... Maybe i should bring my damn tripod next time, lol.

Nice photos. I haven't been there in years, but it is still just as beautiful. BTW, Montreal is one of my favorite cities of all. Thanks for sharing.

thankyou. I have been to Albany, Rochester (drove along lake Erie to get into Pa) and into JFK. Would love to visit more of your state.
