So sorry to bother y all with my silly worries :-(

My d7200 and my tokina 12-28 have served me well for the past five months, bought them brand new in Februrary 20th this year. I must have said something exquisite about d750, anyway that Nikon store would like to buy them 7200 /12-28 combo, give me a used d750 body (as new, 4100 exposures, in box with all paperwork) with a small fee /approx usd 470/ in between.

Me silly?

Or might I gain a new level in my otherwise stumbling life?

Thanks for all kind words in these Forums!

Other than a d7200 and Tokina 12-28, what other bodies or lenses do you own? What is your experience level? Without some of this information, it is very difficult to respond to your questions. For example, do you have any FX lenses that would work on the D750?

I have both. I use the 750 for everything except long tele (with my 200-500) and sometimes for macro (Tokina 100 2.8). If you don't mind the higher cost of FX lenses, and you don't shoot long lenses where you need reach, full frame is awesome.

I own both the D7100 and D750. The F750 is the winner and I love mine. The big question is do you have any FX lenses. You DX lenses might work but you will be disappointed with the results. You will need good FX glass to get what the D750 offers.

The price difference between D7200 and D750 new is around US$900 list, may be less with discounts. So getting a "Like New" for 450+12-28 is not a very lucrative deal. It will be worth it is there was no additional cash - your D7200+12-28.

Unless you need high ISO capability and/or want to shoot wide with wide angles, there is no benefit in an FX body, except that with D750 you get a swivel LCD. One thing you have to decide is what will you do with existing DX lenses. If you think that you will not return to DX, then this is the best time to either sell or exchange the DX lenses also.

The deal seems to be a great deal for the STORE, not for you. Straight exchange would be OK only IF you plan to invest into serious glass ($$$$). Otherwise, get yourself a nice 35 1.8 or 1.4 and enjoy your D7200. It's still a great camera.

I have passed away from the offer now.

So

where do I find a good offer for a good used one?

amazon or eBay

the lowest price new here in norway is NOK 18.500,-
approx usd 2200.-

meaning the us price must be usd 1490 or lower, as postage is usd 120 by fedex, on delivery a customs fee of 28% of the total will be presented.

AND

did something I should have let go :-(
well. I missed this lens twice, it came up on a second hand market again at a very very reasonable price;

Bought a 18-35 as new I was sooo up in getting me a full frame dslr,
that lens is underway to me cannot return it easily

Stuck in the d750 .......
