That wouldn't make much sense for Sony. They sell more volume through Nikon than they do on their own label.

Besides, isn't the D5 a pro body, recently updated?

I was under the impression that the D5 sensor is not made by Sony but Nikon themselves. Not a camera I've spent much time looking at though because it's just a tad outside my budget...
