Thanks guys for your warm welcome. I've fired a few images up in to the gallery today which cover the whole spectrum of film and digital images and include one shot done on the much (well slightly) missed Kodak DCS Pro 14n full frame camera which was really the forerunner of the D3. If I recall it had a huge amount of noise in any but the best light and lowest ISO settings, but hey, it allowed me to shoot with my super wides; they all became redundant with the arrival of the D100, D200 and D300 and stayed that way until the D3/D3s finally arrived. Long live FX. I'm afraid that the 'shyness' bit comes from two areas; abject fear of savage criticism and no free time to actually put material on the gallery! Be gentle with me please! JDEG, Bath is only about 18 miles from me and is a really beautiful city. I keep meaning to go and take some pictures there but I never really seem to get around to it! I relish living in the second smallest village in Somerset - 300 people, four farms, one church, one great pub and no shop or public transport! It's too relaxing and sometimes hard to make the effort to go out into the real world. That said, I am just about to go off to Afghanistan, Iraq and the UAE taking shots for a security company - that's a world away from Somerset at every level!
