Snowy Pine Tree Leaf

guess i will be the first naughty one. You where to late for snowflakes, got snow mush. I did not like focus or background, i would have tried to isolate the leaf, no background. Thanks for posting, many junior members do not. We all learn something here and posting your work will help us all.

Isolating the leaf sounds like a good idea, as for the snow that's the type we received...

The center seems out of focus and the shot appears washed out in general. Did you have active D lighting on? It can cause this effect. What was your focal point?

I think Active D-lighting may have been on I put the camera in the 'flower' or macro mode to take the shot and to be honest I took it relatively quickly so focus may have been off. The focus was just that particular tip of the branch of the pine tree. Also I was using the standard kit lens and the zoom this was shot at was 32mm.
