That is to say, some individual lenses in any particular series are duds. I have 2 Sigma lenses, one bought new, the 18-250mm HSM OS Macro, the other 2nd hand, the AF 100-300mm F4 EX IF HSM APO. I&nbsp; haven't had any problems and I think the 100-300 is brilliant and as with a number of Sigma lenses quite unique. As long as Sigma is working hard on quality control and customer service, I am happy to continue to buy their gear and save a bucket load of cash.
