Ok people, I've got a question. Has anyone used one of these and are they any good as I have a chance of a second hand one for less than £100. I'm wanting to know if its worth a punt on or should I save the extra and get the Nikon variety? I have the 1.8 but would love the extra half a stop the 1.4 would give.

I have a Sigma 1.4 and I love it, it was way more than $200 though, so maybe we are talking about the older one? Or a really good deal on the newer one?

I decided against it as if had an AF fault and only worked in manual focus. Now manual focus isn't a problem but I would like the auto choice too.
