I absolutely love this thing. The colors were bright and punchy, the bokeh is really nice, and falls off pretty evenly. The only thing i needed to be careful on was the lack of OS. Outside of that, the lens met my expectations and I am extremely happy with it.

Wow...great colors. How much post processing was done and how much was the lens just this good? Wish they made this lens in FX. Not that I own an FX body, but I'm trying to buy FX lenses so that I won't have to re-buy anything if I do switch as I can't see any reason to upgrade from the D7000 unless I move to FX.

Exposure correction, some whites and blacks tweaking to recover any blown out bits, and a little bit of contrast.

The lens is really really good. Two weeks ago i went to Phipps with my 35 1.8 to tinker with the D7100. Very few of the images were keepers. This time, it's more which image from a series of images of the same flower do I keep.

To be perfectly honest, the reviews had me pretty hyped for the lens. The quality of my 17-70 C had my hopes up too. I really think the lens is that good. Good enough that if I ever sell my D5200, the 35 1.8 is going with it.
