I'm on the road so i don't have d7100 book with me. Question is where do i find the setting for shutter speed auto at?
Looked in menu and can't seem to find it.
Thanks
The D7000 does not have the setting we are talking about. The d7100 added a new auto iso feature of automatically selecting the minimum shutter speed based on the lens focal length. So instead of picking a single minimum shutter speed, you select auto. The minimum shutter speed will automatically readjust based on the lens installed or zoom level.I don't have the D7100, but on the D7000 you can find the setting under the following options:
Menu --> Shooting Menu --> ISO sensitivity settings --> Auto ISO sensitivity control (has to be ON)
Menu --> Shooting Menu --> ISO sensitivity settings --> Maximum sensitivity (Lowest number that gives you acceptable noise level)
Menu --> Shooting Menu --> ISO sensitivity settings --> Minimum shutter speed (your slowest shutter speed)
