Shutter speed experiment...

I'm quite envious at how I read through the forum and several of you are able to point out exposure, aperture error, iso error etc... And I'm over here like how do I capture these trees on a foggy morning in dim lighting not in auto....

We were all like that when we started. It does not long to start understanding what you're doing as long as you keep doing it.
One advice I would like to say if I may. Don't ever pressure yourself to get better. There are those who will tell you to go out and shoot every day, and practice practice practice until you fall over .

I don't subscribe to that way of thinking when it comes to learning a hobby. If you feel it's too much, slow down. Put the camera away for a few days or even a few weeks. Pick it up again when you want to.
It is an addictive hobby that can drive you nuts if you let it.

Just have fun and interact with like minded people whether at the photo club in your town, or here on the forums. Don't ever be afraid to ask a question, no matter how silly it may seem to you.
Before you know it, you'll be giving advice to others.

Thanks for that. On yesterday I contacted a local photography club here, awaiting their reply. Until then I enjoy the daily shooting,my browser history is filled with photography related questions and sites. The more I research and admire you alls photos it inspires me to take the time and learn the proper functions. I have noticed lately a lot of people pick up a camera and the next day have a "photography company or studio" I do potentially aim to be able to do it for profit on the side but I want to be able to do it and have quality images. Not to mention the magic of knowing how to manipulate lighting and angles and capture an image the way many probably would have never seen it. I have researched lenses and I'm anticipating the day I expand beyond the two I have. I can only imagine the beauty I will capture. But until then I aim to learn how the iso works with the apperatue and shutter speed, lighting and angles. You guys really inspire me. I find myself when with down time admiring various photos and awaiting the day mine come out that way...away from auto mode lol.

Like Blacktop said, have fun and it will come. Some of those people ho pick up a camera and in a few days start shooting for money (I will not call them pros) put out some really bad photos and give the real pros a bad name. I know some people like that personally. Also remember when looking at some of the photos here that some of us have been shooting for 20 or 30 years or more. I have been shooting for 35 years and still learn something new every day. One day I hope to become a good photographer.

Wait..... I'm confused.

A Newbie? Who actually thinks like this?

What planet are you from?

Who are you, and what did you do with the human whose body you inhabit?

j/k! Seriously, it's nice to see someone starting out 'correctly'.

White Balance.

And this can be turned off on your phone since it's really just free advertising for Samsung.

Actually, it's Tapatalk that inserts that, by default, to advertise itself. There's a setting somewhere in Tapatalk to change it, or better yet, to simply turn it off.

I've looked before and have not found the option. It may be an option on the paid APP only. Maybe someone will know???

Well what do you know!! I found the Tap-A-Talk Signature option this time and have been able to change it. I couldn't change it before. Thanks Bob Blaylock for giving me the incentive to look again. Ha!
