I set up a makeshift “studio” in my living room on Sunday and did a shoot with my daughter. I selected this image at random out of the set for critique. It can be a tad difficult to get a two-year-old to pose for photos, but I really enjoy the facial expression I captured in this one.
The main area in which I’m looking for critique is lighting. I’m new to off camera flash photography and I want to learn and grow. This was lit by an off camera flash shot through a cheap 33” white umbrella from the left. I do plan on buying more/better light modifiers soon, but I wanted to get some shooting under my belt with what I have.
While lighting is the main thing I want critique on, I'm certainly open to any and all feedback.
Thank you in advance!
