You aren't being argumentative. You are right that the blogger's images are processed. I missed the "no processing" part. My bad. I didn't come up with "digital plastic surgery". That came from the Modcloth article.
Now, I am convinced I read into that blogger's answer wrong. I read her FAQ again. She seems to think Lightroom is ok but Photoshop isn't because it is used to edit people. She would be wrong.
I think I get it now. Ugh! She is giving conflicting and inaccurate information.

As usual, you make me see the error of my ways.

I retract the language barrier/vocabulary (her vocabulary) statement. It isn't you. It is the blogger's conflicting information that is confusing. My apologies. Why she would state she uses Lightroom and then turn around and say she uses "no processing" is beyond me. I somehow missed that part of her statement.

No doubt, she processes the images in Lightroom.

The blogger seems to think Lightroom is ok, but Photoshop is not because it is used for editing people. Here is what she gets way wrong: The blogger stated Modcloth signed a "no Photoshop pledge", which they didn't. They have, "The Heroes Pledge for Advertisers," in which they have a policy that they don't drastically edit out skin and body imperfections in their images. They also state clearly that they use Photoshop.
I think she has some misunderstanding of Photoshop and for what it is used.

Thank you all!
Now, we are on our ways to the mountains for a long trip on ski. Will be an amazing day, we have lots of snow, and miles of machine laid tracks all over:)

Wow... Okay. This post was very enlightening. After reading this I re-read the blog, read up on the "Heroes Pledge for Advertisers" and so forth. I really thought I was going some kind of bonkers but now, in light of your post, it all makes sense. In short, I believe your conclusions are 100% correct. Well done!

Wait, what? LOL Thanks, Paul. I am rarely told that.

All of your points are correct and valid.
We can all move on with our lives knowing that there is a fashion blog with with a misguided soul writing it and that she needs a proper photography lexicon.

Enjoy your trip and stay safe. Please post some more images (after post-processing them). ;)

Wait, I broke out all those torches and pitchforks and now nobody wants to storm the castle?

Well, that sucks. Ok, fine, I'll start getting everything put away again...

I have a friend that is an amazing photographer all around. He's able to get some pretty good money for the pictures he takes. He's very, very good all around. Getting the settings perfect with the camera and even more perfect with his software.

I hate shooting with him. LOL. I always pick something up and he's is never condescending (unless he catches someone shooting in auto) LOL.

I simply do not care enough to take all the trouble. I'm not arguing that is good, it just is what it is. I'm more interested in the experience. We shot a guy that does a fire act not long ago. It was after dark and around 15 degrees out. Not the best setting. He put on a really good show. My friend had his tri-pod set up with all his setting pre set by getting there early. I was too busy checking out the other things going on.

I was as interested in watching the show as getting pics. In the end, yes his pictures were better. I had a really good time. He probably did also. My point......do what makes you happy. Don't worry about that others claim or what they do unless they are doing something you really want to do and are having a hard time getting there.

Hand held with it being 15 degree's outside, I was really happy. It was a really good show.

HAPPY NOW!!!
been out skiing for five hours now. What a magnificent experience!

check this:
foldenfoto.net

a most respected and very experienced Norwegian nature photgrapher. He claims all his photos is sooc. Ye shall not tamper with my nice photos he says. Well. He uses phshop lite to reduce the photos to 1000x700 webformat.

There is no way at all we ever can agree on this post procesing. He gets really mad at me when I kindly suggest maybe a tad unsharpen mask and colour corr.

That man is 80 this year, he is my Master regarding mountain walks and knowledge of the mountains I love to walk in.

People that age are wise because of life experience. However, they aren't always right.

I would let him be regarding processing and enjoy the time. He isn't going to change at this point. He doesn't want to fiddle with processing beyond cropping, and that is ok for him.

I am working to get as much correct in camera as possible. I like photo editing, but not photo repair.

Glad you had fun skiing.

I would love to say I do not post process my photos, but I can't. I try to live on the fine line where I try to enhance my photos but not create anything that wasn't there.
