Several shots on one frame

Hello All,

I am new in the community, really excited of being part of it. Any suggestions on how to take several shots on the same frame? Is that possible. Years ago, I used a semi automatic Pentax that used film. What I did at that time was to cover the lens and change the subject. I wonder is there is an automatic setting to lee the same frame while shooting.

Thanks,

Yes, I believe there is a multiple exposure function with the D90. I just remember reading about it in the user manual. Unfortunately, I don't have this model anymore so I couldn't tell you exactly how to do it. You'll have to read the manual. And you can probably learn a few good pointers about your camera at the same time.

It's in the Shooting Menu. You can layer 2-10 frames. I don't remember if you have to adjust metering accordingly or if it's a software layered thing, but you'll figure it out. I prefer to do mine in Photoshop (or PSElements) afterward.

Thanks to all. Sure enough I have to do more readings… still having problems with technical terms but I will get there at some point.
@ Don: yes, I will get into that in this couple of days.

Best!
