To update my situation, I've had another interesting conversation with my ISP's service center. It only took an hour and a half this morning. They tried to convince me that it was not their problem but they had to finally agree to take the blame. Apparently they might not have cleared some cache in their system or are blocking our website's server for some obscur reason. So, they will talk with their engineers and try to figure out what they can do. In the meantime, the service person advised me that I should be using Google's server. So, I changed my DSN settings and BINGO, I was able to connect right away. I think my ISP's server was still trying to access Nikonites with the old server's address. So thanks to all who helped me. In a way, I've learned a few things now but am sure glad to be able to connect whenever I feel like it, not just in the middle of the night. For Ironwood, you can change to Google's DNS on your Mac. Open your system preference panel, click on connections, advanced, DNS and there is a little plus sign in the bottom left corner. Click on it and then add the google's DNS: There are two of them: 8.8.8.8 and then 8.8.4.4. This has worked for me so I don't see why it should do the trick for you too. Thanks again for all your help.
