Sensor Gel Stick by Eyelead

Got my Sensor Gel Stick by Eyelead in from Amazon today. Just watched a video on using it. It all looks pretty easy. I have had one spot on my D7100 that shows up on the sky and have been having to remove it in ACR so it does need cleaning. I am going to go out tomorrow and shoot the sky at f16 or so and really look at how bad it is before I clean it. Then clean it and shoot again to see if it is all gone.

I have never cleaned a sensor before so for the ones that have used the Gel stick is there anything I need to watch out for?

Never tried the Gel stick Don but have you seen the link I have put up here several times about sensor cleaning?
It's pretty easy to do - must be if I can. :)

The only thing I have heard from my local camera shot that uses them is on occasion they can leave a residue line from the edge of the gel stick.

I use Eyelead gel stick. It is excellent and very easy to use. Just make sure you clean the gel on the sticky bit of paper provided (the thin peel). I used to do it on the wrong side of the paper and couldn't understand why my gel didn't work.

nice little trick to check sensor spots , go to camera raw , select the spot removal tool and down the bottom there is a check box called visualse spots , you will very easily see the spots then , very very handy to quickly remove spots
