Ha ha! I didn't see that one coming!
What you didn't see was the follow on photo. The seal was wiping its brow thinking about its good fortune when the shark came up behind him and swallowed him whole. Sharks, like all living things, have to eat too, ya know!
While living up in the Pacific Northwest I watched an Orca beach itself to catch a large seal. He had the seal it its mouth and realized he was stuck! So he does this little wiggle back into the water, all the while the seal is still in its jaws. It was pretty comical to watch really, unless you were the seal's buddies that is.
