Well @Ironwood and I are having a small competition to see who gets the most critters in their backyard. I think he will win but it will be fun regardless. Mind you he has had a head start

Here are a few for starters.

Aggressive spider, now this one was interesting as every time the flash fired he would threaten me like he has. Now mind you I shot this at 1/320 sec and he was flat on the web, so basically I had to 'guess' where he would be when he posed. I think it turned out fairly well. Also he was only around 5mm.

I am looking forward to more from the insect/arachnid yuck zone. We don't have anything like that up here in the outer reaches of upstate New York.

I thought that was the plan Scott .

Hopefully I will get half an hour to try and get a few shots before dark tonight, if its not raining .

PS- could be a wet weekend coming up if that cyclone hits the coast up north
