Message: <blockquote data-quote="RockyNH_RIP" data-source="post: 347776" data-attributes="member: 10784">Ok, here is the gator scoop...I went to the Refuge visitor center...    the lady behind the desk had no idea, so called over her associate.  He knew right away, it is a nuisance tag!   They currently have 2 in the refuge..   The tag has an engraved metal plate for ID and color coded for male/female.    the tags are 2 fold..Allows them to keep an eye on one's suspected to be a nuisance (coming to close to people) and also the trauma effect tends to make them wanting to avoid contact with humans.He then went and got the federal wildlife officer and he asked to have the photos with date, time and location withing the refuge.   I will email them all the details this afternoon.Pat in GA</blockquote>
