Just a side note.... I mentioned that I am going on a 2 day trip on the motorcycle... we are meeting in Downsville NY Sunday for lunch with maybe 20 of my long distance riding friends. Because of these LD rides and my remote adventure rides, my bikes are equipped with a SPOT personal tracker. It marks a map with my location every 10 minutes or so such that my family and friends can track my progress. In an emergency, it also allows me to send a Help Message or an SOS if in trouble. Anyway, thought I would share the link to my page if anyone wants to chck in on my progress... The page is up now but locations will not appear until I turn SPOT on around 8am EDT. It will track me all the way to where we spend the night tomorrow and then again Sunday, to Downsville NY, and then all the way home to NH. Check it out, see my progess... have a little fun with it!! Note that the SPOTwalla software was written by a friend of mine (Jason Jonas) and he provides it free. Pat in NH
