Message: <blockquote data-quote="RockyNH_RIP" data-source="post: 179366" data-attributes="member: 10784">Hello Nate,Those were taken with the D7100, which is clearly my favorite.   I hung on to the 5100 as a backup and since I was keeping the len's. the value was not that great.   I do use them both but predominately I use the 7100.    I will grab the 5100 to keep my hand in and I also have the tripod plate on the 5100 and usually my 55-300 mounted.   I will grab the 5100 when out on my patio with the long lens in case I see a bird, critter or plane to shoot.I have some great shots with the 5100 by the way!!   It is a great camera but the build quality and features along with ease of adjusting all go to the 7100...   along with the image quality...Pat in NH</blockquote>
