Rescued this little guy from the bird netting over our chicken coop yard. His brother/sister didn't quite make it. :( Can anyone identify this little guy? There's a barn swallow nest in the barn, right over the the chicken coop yard. He kinda sorta looks like a tiny one. Wondering if they fell out of the nest. Or they flew in from somewhere else... He hobbles around the ground like his wing is broken, but it is not. Neither is his legs. So he's either too young to fly, or too tired to fly. He's wet, we gave it a bath. No soap, we didn't have any dawn. You can see the cooties on him, and me, in the first pic. I burned my clothes, and took a bath in gasoline. I feel much better now. He's going to spend the night in a cat carrier in the chicken coop. But on the other side of the fence. Our chicken coop is half coop, half shed. We'll see how he's doing in the morning. Can't find any mom or dad screaming for him anywhere. Cuddling against my leg.
