Day 045, Valentines Day! I took this for my beautiful wife for Valentines Day. She is currently in the Dominican Republic as Team Leader for The Midwest Medical Mission group. They go down every year this time and see patients for free who would otherwise not have access to medical services. The last I heard, as I haven't talked to her today, they've seen over 600 patients in the clinic and have done over 60 surgeries... Since Monday. Next year, I'm going with them as the hospital itself needs some serious help. Mostly their electrical services. Seriously, she showed me a picture of one of the circuit breaker panels (if you could call it that...) I'm not so sure I actually want her in that building now... Sigh... Anyway, since her wedding ring is on her finger, I grabbed one out of her jewelry box. I think it's one of her baby rings... It's really tiny. You'd never know if I didn't tell you, so just pretend I didn't tell you. I took a picture like this sometime last year, but with just my ring. I didn't actually read the text on the pages I used until some stranger on flickr made a joke about the "Cooch Tent". There were other such literary "sayings" that I won't mention here. The lesson learned? Never trust a book with a picture of an elephant on the cover. So, this is kind of my do-over. I used a medical dictionary this time, so even if there is something nasty in the words, at least it'll be the proper term for the nastiness.
