Restricted shutter speeds when using flash?

Can we not have both a real shutter and an electronic shutter?! I'm reading about flash duration on better speedlights; and Auto FP, but is this possible on the D3200 at all?</p><p>(I know I have a lot to learn, and I'm reading/watching tutorials on skate photography etc, all use flash, still confused tho, and I seam to have lost one of the best features of my old D50...)</p></blockquote><p></p>
