Limiting the shutter speed with flash has always been done with all cameras and not just with Nikon. It is just the way it has to be done to time when the flash fires while the shutter is open. The flash duration is extremely short. Flash duration on the SB-700 can be as short as 1/40000 sec.</p></blockquote><p></p>
