Message: <blockquote data-quote="Nikon Brat" data-source="post: 109371" data-attributes="member: 12692"><p>It's fine to have noise.  It's expected from a DX sensor when working with video.  The new D5200 has better ISO handling but know that noise from the D3200 can be treated.  Pro video heads and filmmakers use the Neat Video noise reduction algorithms that do amazing results!  Try a 50mm Nikkor f1.2 at ISO 200 with noise reduction on in a dark street and you will see how well the D3200 behaves.  do realize your 50mm becomes a 75mm in DX mode.  I would also use primes with video as contrast behaves better than the cheap optics for standard zoom lenses with two apertures</p></blockquote><p></p>
