Recommended microphones to use?

Hi all,

Following my upgrade from the D80 to D90, I am looking for a good microphone to use, the reviews I have heard and read about the Nikon mic aren't exactly inspiring! I'm a bit skeptical about eBay specials...

Any advice would be great!

Gear Head
D90 has a limited video capability. If I am not mistaken, it has about 2 or 4 minutes limit per file. I use Nikon ME-1 which works very well.
