I sure as hell wouldn't go in.     I was told a short story once, where a father told his son not to go near the water. If he did he would surely be taken by an alligator. The boy didn't listen and was grabbed by an alligator. The boy screamed for his father. The father knowing what is happening grabbed his rifle. When he made it to the shore he took aim and shot his son. Knowing he could not reach him and so he wouldn't suffer.</blockquote>
