Rainbow Clouds

I don't know if it has anything to do with my cloud picture yesterday, but the timing is amazing if it doesn't. Yesterday I captured this photo of the clouds having this strange rainbow coloring to them. I got the picture and showed Wendy here on the forum because we had never seen anything like it. Today, I stumbled upon an article about pictures of rainbow clouds similar to mine, but far stronger in the northern latitudes. What do you guys think? Connected?

Yesterday while driving i saw proper rainbow clouds for the first time,it was all the colors of the rainbow but smeared throughout a large section of the sky,couldn't stop and didnt have a camera of course.

not rainbow clouds but i did see the name for these clouds but forget now.
