So, I was invited to go up to Rainbow Beach (Qld, Australia) for 3 days of photography with some friends. We had super cheap accomodation in a very nice house close to the beach. The 4 of us drove up in 2 cars, meeting the 5th photog there. It's about 4hrs from home. First stop was out onto the beach for a look about and see if we could find any nice blue bottles to photograph (these things sting, even when dead). That evening we went out to Bullock Point where the Fraser Island ferries dock overnight and when not in use. We had hoped for a nice sunset, and we got an OK one, but it was over so quickly. I don't get to see many sunsets at home here. While out I discovered I had left my camera in jpeg mode after photographing some pre-loved jewellery for sale a few days before, so most of my shots here were jpg's. Damn!! Anyway.....home around 8pm, dinner, showers and early to bed for a sunrise shoot in the morning.
