Rather than pose they perform a slow motion dance when the camera is pointed at them so I hang on for the ride and take images.
They are not used to the camera and adding to the fun is where are in public and often they are spectators.
I have worked with pros who direct me when to shoot but dealing with pros costs $$$.
I like the hair on the face, it seems appropriate for the setting to add some informality to the scene. The way I read Fish's suggestion was to mean to cause the hair to be moved and not that the photographer do it. In the studio the stylist or MUA does it.
