Considering the whole point of wide-angle lenses is that you get as much in the frame as possible, to have poor results at the widest setting is rubbish and doesn’t show any value for money. This is the only reason I’m interested in the 14-24. From what I’ve read it seems to perform superbly throughout its range, and on a camera like the D810 that is exactly what I need. BUT… …it has the performance, and not the practicality.
