Message: <blockquote data-quote="Revet" data-source="post: 221613" data-attributes="member: 17612">I was reading my manual yesterday on the SB 700 and was confused on the SU-4 function when talking about auto or manual mode.  It says in auto mode the remote SB 700 will sync with the master flash (on and off with the master) but in the manual mode it only starts when the master fires and not when it stops.I don't get this because I thought that the flash is so fast relative to the shutter speed of the camera that this is a non-issue unless your using a super fast shutter speed.  Thus, what are they talking about in manual mode when the flash starts when the master starts but doesn't stop when the master stops??</blockquote>
