...............Why is it so cheap when the real price is around £600 lol im confused .

While his sales history is similar to the listing, I'd still be leery. Best to clutch your money tightly and pay a bit more later on for a legit deal than to feel the pain of being scammed.

Let me "unconfuse" you. The reason it's so "cheap" is because...

Wait for it...

It's a scam.

There are times to buy off eBay and there are times to avoid eBay like a pile of rotting and diseased corpses. This is one of those latter times.

Okay can you please tell me how to check who's a legit seller and who's an asshole lol . Until now, i thought the only way to check is by seeing their feedback and how long they been on ebay.

Big Clue #1: Seller is posting an item with a "Buy it Now" price of roughly half what any known-legit vendor is selling that same item for.

*thinking*

Then again... I guess I could be totally wrong. Lucky for you the price of finding out for sure is only £350.

You have no doubt been researching this lens so you know about what it should cost. Rule #1 if it it sounds too good to be true it damn sure is. Hong Kong is in the PRC. That alone should be enough to stop you in your tracks.

I bought my Tokina 11-16 from Panamoz.com for £356. It came with a 3-year UK warranty. What's the warranty really worth I'm not sure, but Panamoz has quite good reviews, including from people who needed to repair cameras or lenses. Grey import is always a bit of a gamble, but I wouldn't demonise it. Savings can be substantial.
